Said Chaouch is one of the Swedish pioneers of world music. He founded the record store "Worldmusic Oasis" in the 1990s. His is an active promoter, behind  numerous great artists such as Tinariwen, Papa Wemba, Skatalites and many others. Said also works as music advisor, lecturer, DJ, festival reporter and still involved in many musical and cultural events in Gothenburg since 30 years.
